“So… remember how you convinced me to become an entertainer?”
“Of course…” I said, “go on.”
“Well, I love it, and I’ve decided to do comedy routines around town for money, maybe even go into the city.”
I got promoted again and we used the promotion money to add on a room for the bathroom. Finally it felt like we really had a house (even though there’s no kitchen yet) It seemed like we could get on with our lives and really live. We may have a house but we hardly have a good amount of money to live off of. Not like we cared much. We were just young, dumb, and in LOVE!
I had decided to take up gardening to make more money, pay the bills. After all, we just got windows. Hopefully we’ll get more plants soon.
“Does it look sad?” I asked, looking over my new plant.
“It looks fine!”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m not an expert, but it’s green…”
I looked at the plant again. The leaves were green.
“I think we’re gonna be ok.” I told Mitchell.
“I think so too.”
I’d also kept doing programming for my job, and finally learned how to hack. Every simoleon counts, but I didn’t plan to do it often, or ever again for that matter… I just wanted to see if I could do it! Sometimes my ambition pushed me a little too far.
Also, I was working out. I loved being active, and it was just something else to do. Mitch was also getting much better at his comedy routines and people were starting to take notice of him!
“Now that you’re a big guy in the city…” I started.
“Not a big guy, dear. Not many people know me.”
“Will I have to worry about competition?”
“Of course not. You’re the only girl I have eyes for.”
I had come so far since that young girl living on the streets. My life was just getting started.
A/N: Well this chapter seemed long, there were a lot of pictures 🙂
