It’s been 8 months!

I’ve been writing on here for eight months now! It’s been an amazing experience and I’m so lucky to have found such a great simlit community here 😄

We’re closer than ever to generation four taking over – especially since little Valentina has been born! I’m super excited to start her story soon, it’s going to be quite different!

Anyway, there are two things that I’m going to be trying to do better in my writing moving forward:

1) Have less perfect relationships – I know practically every single marriage in this story has been pretty perfect & I know that’s not realistic. It is what is typically portrayed as a happy relationship, though, and showing them in good relationships meant a lot, especially because my parents are divorced. But every couple fights, it’s just how they deal with the problem that shows how good they are together, and with how much I care about making this story realistic, it’s important that more realistic relationships are shown too.

2) Keeping things moving!! – Sometimes I get carried away with details that things don’t really advance as fast as I’d like (we’ve been on gen 3 since MAY with 67 chapters and counting) and I’m going to try and work on having things detailed but also being able to write in a way that keeps their lives moving forward.

  • We’ve gotten to 52 followers in less than a year!! Thank you guys so much for your support, I couldn’t do it without you all!
  • 162 total posts

What’s been your guys’ favorite part about Adelaide’s generation? It can be an overall thing or just a certain part 🙂 And is there anything else you think I could work on in my writing?

Thank you all for reading, and I hope everybody has a great holiday season!

** I’m doing the shout-outs every two months, fyi 🙂

  2. I feel you’ve been doing a great job with your relationships . There have been miscommunications , lack of communication , misunderstandings , assumptions , trying to do everything by oneself , forgetting to share, and…. working it out . Very realistic and far from perfect or ideal !

  4. Wow, it’s really been that long, huh? Doesn’t feel like it! I’ve loved hearing about Adelaide’s struggles getting pregnant, as it’s actually been educational in a way. I always look forward to reading your posts (and your comments on my posts 😉 ), so I’m really glad I discovered your story all those months ago. Keep up the great work!

  5. I’ve loved reading Addie’s generation, as this has been such an emotional roller-coaster and you’re keeping it realistic, but I wanted to link you to this article.
